I’m honestly so happy to reconnect with you all. Huge shoutout to TheViper for still having the domain after all these years—that’s incredible. It’s probably been around 20 years since we last spoke, which is crazy to think about, so I’m really stoked right now. There was a time I thought I’d never hear from you guys again.

Man, we had such a great time back in the day—OFP and all that… what a blast that was! Some of the best memories for sure.

I really hope you’re all doing well and that life’s been treating you right.

By the way, has anyone got photos from Campzone? I think I’ve got one somewhere—just need to find it.

Yeah its been a long time! Everyone older but i’m still as handsome as 20 years ago! Nah crew that; i’m old and tired!
I was talking with TheViper today; yeah man, Flashpoint was da bomb! We still havent finished the Irios mission!
I still have the pics somewhere on a harddisk and shall look into it! If lucky i have some pics of Campzone too!
You still live in Deutschland or are you back to good old Scunthorpe?

Man, Flashpoint really was the shit back then. I’d completely forgotten we never actually finished the Irios mission! All those bloody hours we put into that stuff as well. Crazy to think how long ago that was.

Definitely have a look for those old pics! Would be brilliant to see them again. That’ll bring back some memories!

And yeah, I’m still in Germany mate, never made it back to good old sunny Scunthorpe Been here all these years now.

Yeah, that mission; i talked with TheViper about it couple of days ago. It is still in our memory! Start in the forest, kill the 2 patrols, blow up the tank and then clear the village! The best we did was everything killed but 1 npc!

And do you remember ICQ? That bloody flower and the "Uh-oh!" every time someone messaged you

It's mad how all this stuff starts coming back once you start talking about it. It's been over 20 years ago now, but I can still picture us in that chopper

Those really were good times mate. Gaming was just different back then, Flashpoint, Teamspeak, Campzone and spending half the night trying to finish one mission.

And fully German?! Fuck off! I've been here a long time, but you'll never get Scunthorpe out of me. Although I'm not sure that's something to be proud of!

If you find those old photos, definitely send them over. I'd love to see them again.

Yeah, that Nam mission was also cool! They had so much nice stuff! I have for a long time Arma Reforger in my Steamlist. Its the modern version of Flashpoint but havent bought it yet because if i want to play it it has to be the old crew!
Yeah, the ICQ and dont forget Gamespy. If i tell my kids about it the laugh their arse off how we had that ancient tech to game!
So, do you still game a bit or are you an old man and too slow?
Nah i have the same. I had for years a clan on the PS and we did Destiny but the fast shooting is gone.
And yes; i also told TheViper that is still have the pictures somewhere on a HD. If i have time, i’ll check it out.

Haha, I actually still game a lot mate, Just not that many shooters anymore because I definitely feel a lot slower than I used to be... but I'm NOT old!
I played some ARC Raiders with my daughter and son-in-law recently, which was actually good fun, but I've got a bit bored of that now.

I'd definitely be up for some Arma Reforger though. Would be fun to see if the old crew still has it after all these years
